What GPU should I get for my first computer build.

I'm building me my first computer and the only thing that I haven't picked out for certain now is my graphics card. I was going to go with the 8800gt but now I think I could get a better graphics card for the price since the new graphics cards have came out now.

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...Number=7734251 Link to my Build.

You'd be drunk to not get a Radeon 4850 or at least a 9800GTX.

i'm pretty sure the 4850 is the best right now... but you might want to get a second opinion on that. but you might want to wait for the new lineup of cards to come out in a few weeks to see what ati/nvidia has to offer

The 4850 is by all accounts a demon. I'm personally waiting for the 4870 though.

HD4850 is the best for price/performance right now. It's about the 4th or 5th best card overall. I would buy one again without question or second thought.
