OCZ Reaper DDR2 4 x 1GB Problems

Thread Starter
I have found problems with OCZ Reaper DDR2 4 x 1GB

I re-install A-Data 2 x 1GB DDR2 to check to see if they function ok before I gave them to my Parents understandable you don’t want to give them clap out RAM. I done this and they are all fine POST and everything fine Timings 4-4-4-14. So switched off and put in the OCZ Reapers guest what no POST. So switch off and tried again no POST. So I put the A-Data RAM back in and it POST lovely and boot up was with in 30 seconds. The OCZ Reapers 4 x 1GB was running lovely up till this point.

Motherboard: P5N-E SLI 650i (current)/ Striker II Formula 780i (not installed)

ok..time to tell some personal stories...

when I first got my OCZ reapers they wont post either. but after pulling them out and putting them back into a different slot several times, they worked perfectly.

2nd story of mine: these so called HI PERFORMANCE fancy looking OCZ reapers arent doing as good as my crucial ballistixs (single sided chips with cheap heatspreaders).

and as conclusion: I ebayed my OCZ reapers.
