Firefox 3 "Clear Saved Passwords"

post #1 of 5
Thread Starter
Hey all,

I have my Firefox set up so that it asks you what to clear when you close it, but the other day when I was out, my cousin and parents used my PC and one of them cleared all my 200ish passwords, I then backed up my profiles without knowing they had done this and now, cannot retreive them...

So what I am asking is... if anyone knew how to either, blank out or completely remove the "Clear Saved Passwords" bit from the "Clear Private Data" box, I know I did this on FF2 but I cant remember how

Thanks in advance
Daniel

Uhh...Go to Tools>Options>Privacy

Then you will see the last box, which says 'Private Data' and there's a 'Setting' button you can click on, after that, you will see...

That was already unticked, I mean comepletely grey out the box, making it completly un-selectable, so no one can accidently click it and click clear :/

Thanks

Something like
Code:
#SanitizeDialogPane checkbox[label="Saved Passwords"] {display: none !important;}
in your userChrome.css file will do it.
