Whats the difference in quality for Mobo's?

Thread Starter
Well I've been looking at every mobo from Asus to Abit and MSI to Biostar and trying to figure out something that is quite...annoying.

I was reading how TT managed to get the new Biostar T power I45 to an extremely high OC but it doesn't look like all the other boards...

What I'm referring to is the fancy heatpipes that go from the NB/SB and to the MOSFETs whereas this uber Biostar has a (What appears to be) cheap Heatsink on the SB and a semi-decent one on the NB.

Is there any ACTUAL difference between all these motherboards? Those that have extensive heat-pipe heatsinks and those that don't?

I'm talking whatever have you...different capacitors/tubes(lol)/ETC...

These days most big Manufacturers have decently built boards, all use sold caps and all use copper heat pipes, i personally think the fancy copper is for bling more then anything. Most higher end boards have better PCBs and Better components then there lower end counterparts, again solid caps , 10 layer pcb. The moral is don't buy something because it looks good.
