I have the 512MB 8800GTS as well, and while I thought about upgrading to the 4870, I quickly realized almost every new game I play (except Crysis) can usually be maxed out perfectly fine with my GTS. I'll either wait for the 4870X2, or just wait for the 5XXX series.
