That what is thinking. My mate has a Q9300 and his Core temps are diff between cores even with the same load. I might get a different cooler i have £50 on my debit card any recommendations. on a H/S

another thing check my side bar it says core 3 is a 2% and core temp say 6% only true reader of CPU usage has got to be task manager

I'd try reseating the CPU fan first.

well i need some more OCZ freezer as i've ran out i'll order some tomorrow.

is it ok to run my system at these temp or should i lower the Clock Speed i'm currently at 2.7 GHz
post #15 of 39
I'm using a Zalman 7700CU to keep my Q6600 cool, its OC'd to 3.0Ghz and my temps keep pretty close accross the cores, within 1-2degrees C between cores.

Hey, if you have an electronics store similar to Radio Shack you should be able to find some AS5. If you can find it I'd get the AS5 although that OCZ I heard is pretty good also.

You sure u need that much vcore to run at 2.7 GHz? Mine runs at 3.2GHz at less than my VID (1.30v). Maybe a little more NB or SB voltage would help it run stable at a lower vcore.

For 22c ambienand that clock speed and vcore, those idle and load temps are pretty high. DId you use the correct amount of thermal compund?
