What would be a good voltage for my NB. I have not reseated it with OCZ freezer. The reason I upped my Vcore is because i got mem dumping BSOD @ 1.31V I now run at 1.33. I don't know if the B3 stepping needs more Voltage

The temp is kinda high same as mine Q6700. I'm running stock @ 2.6 with 43c 42c 37c 37c. I'm using a TRUE. My temp is high, because the HS bottom is not flat. So I decide to lap it soon. Lapping ur HS may help u lower the temp.

I'm thinking off different cooling solution.

Stick with the Asus Triton 97 i'll reseat when OCZ Freezer arrives.

will this northbridge cooler fit on my mobo: Thermalright HR-05 IFX SLI Northbridge Chipset Heatsink http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...set%20Heatsink

and a couple of high end 120mm fans any help. my budget is £60 inc P&P

For the p5n-e sli bios 0608 is the best for quads. You can pull 3ghz by dropping your ram down to 667mhz and upping your FSB to 1333.

I was thinking of dropping my RAM to 667 because i keep getting mem dumping BSOD. but 667 is not really that good. I want to stick at 800. I can Post at 2.8 with 800mhz ram

Yeah.. the p5n-e sli is pretty good with dual cores, but is NOT meant for quads (overclocking, anyway). If you wanted to OC a quad, regardless of what some people say, I think the 680i is pretty good.

The Intel chipsets are good as well, though I can't give you muhc opinion on those; and by much opinion I mean none.

I have got a Asus Striker II Formula 780i but this is being used for my beast rig. I'll be using my Q6600 on that

Ok i've been looking on OCUK

So far i've found
OCZ Freezer
I don't weather to upgrad my RAM to G.Skill 2x1GB DDR2 NQ PC2-6400C5 or should i stick with the A-data single side
Arctic Cooling Arctic Fan 9PWM 92mm Fan - 4-Pin PWM for my side fan

any other recommendations

If english is your first language... spelling and grammar!

I have heard that A-Data is absolutely hopeless and that any other RAM is better for overclocking. The OCZ Reaper Series are pretty good depending on what your budget is.

But I would prefer to get a new heatsink if I was you. Anything like the TRUEs, Tuniqs, Infinitys are good.

EDIT: When will you have your "Beast Rig" Done? If its going to be done soon, might as well save up for a few graphics cards or something else.
