e7200 is this common? 4ghz - Page 2

That is weird my E7200's stock voltage is 1.0375v

I got to admit overclocking a E7200 to 3.6 was EXTREMELY easy and I could go to 4ghz if I wanted to but prob wouldn't see an improvement in anything.

I didn't really keep track, it was roughly three hours right after i formatted while i played on my ps3. but i'll run it over night tonight. In the screeny i just loaded it up real quick for the screenshot. Is there a better thermal compound out now than as5? I haven't been in the game for a couple years now. since the e4300's first came out. I had one of them running at 3.75 but that was on water. On my box it says my voltage is 1.25. In my bios it defaults to the above or real close. Still not at what it says on the box though

These are results of E7200's with (mostly) documentation.
Maybe if you read this you'll know why some are skeptical.

OCZ Freeze, Arctic Cooling MX-2, or IC Diamond 7 Carat are good. There are various Shin Etsu MicroSi TIM's which are supposed to be pretty good too.

^thanks to the two above. I will look into the tim's and check out that e7200 thread.

edit:

why doesn't it display a voltage on my validation page?

Well i even turned off the +.100 thing in the bios and i still run prime95 fine for 15 minutes. (i know that doesn't prove TOO much) But my voltage still didn't change in cpuz. What program can i use to show my actual voltage to prove i'm not just making this up? I know it got rid of the .100 because i am staying under 60c now lol

Must be nice, mine is 1.2125v

I think I got the worst VID on the planet, oh well she overclocks just as nicely as the rest.

now did oyu set the vcore to the VID and start overclocking or did you just leave it at auto. if you left it at auto then your vcore will change.
