The RIAA should also be forced to pay for money lost by defendants for not being able to be at work (if the defendant is found innocent).
However, I am displeased that a class-action lawsuit has been created by one of the sued people. It is not her responsibility to get money for the other victims. She is doing it to get more money for herself, as is her lawyer. It makes me wish the judge hadn't awarded her the legal fees, as she is now just as greedy as the RIAA. Class-action suits should be brought to court by governments, not by a single person looking for a way to weasel some money from somebody.
Well, class-action lawsuit generally only benefit the lawyers involved. The people get a very very very small amount of the overall winnings.
