What CPU cooler should I get? - Page 2

Yeppers, its time for a new case. A new case will provide for better airflow and allowance for room for a TRUE or TT or someething else.

Yeah It is getting really cramped in my case too. All those cables are probably really restricting my air flow. I have the side off for now to help keep it cool. I also have a 12inch box fan blowing on it just for the heck of it.

So will a TRUE fit in both the Antec 900 and the 1200?

and what is a TT?

It should, I have the 1200 and about any cooler will fit space wise. My problem was that my ram heat spreaders on my Corsair ram are super high and I had lots of trouble finding a cooler to fit. The ram is right next to the cpu on my board and it was a huge pain because most coolers for the amd platform can only be mounted a couple ways, usually lengthwise. I went with a mid grade cooler, the Thermaltake V1, and it dropped my temps 10c, which is all I wanted anyway. My choice if it would have fit would have been the OCZ Vendetta 2, or the Xigmatek 1283.
