I won $1000 from EVGA! - Page 3

Well, ok in response to some of those suggestions.

I don't plan to bu random crap, just maybe something someone found on the site you might not of thought they sold. But good suggestion on not going crazy.

I will probably stick with one video car, because I use a dual monitor setup. Plus I had SLi GTS before, and I didnt notice a huge difference in anything but 3dMark scores. Though it is something to think about.

In the way of buying a new card, everything I've read says if you already have one of the GTS 512s, the 9800 GTX wont be worth the small increase in frame rates, though I guess I could sell the 512 and get some actual cash.

I'm not buying the Velicoraptor because I'm just gonna pick up another Raptor 150 and Raid 0 them, but very good suggestion.

LCD Tv, well, I just dont think I watch enough TV to make it worth it.

I am not trying to shoot ya'll down, I really appreciate the suggestions, just trying to give ya'll some insight into my thought process.

Thanks so much - TK

Oh yea, and in response to the cooling solutions, they dont sell harldy any of the water cooling parts I would use, and do they even sell a Air Cooler thats much better? If you find one link it for me please.

The speaker setup was a great suggestion too, but I already have pretty decent speakers, but I use my ATH-AD700 almost 100% of the time because they are that good.

Hehe...
I say get yourself one of these babies.

Then with the leftover money (if there is any) get yourself a second GTS or whatnot.
Or just save and wait to get a pimped out rig later.

Dude jsut save it. If you are happy with how your rig was, there isnt that much you can make better. Sure you can buy like a 760i mobo, but why? Its not worth it to you right now to buy anything untill new parts come out, and your stuff gets dated. just my opinion. Im not a fan of buying a new gpu unless my card(s) cant play stuff on a quality that i enjoy looking at. Its that kind of mentality, it aint broke, so dont fix it.

It's a gift card to Newegg. I fail to see how that would work (would be nice if you could do this, maybe some in-store credit savings...).

TK, what about upgrading your monitors and sell the current?
