I will definitely consider the E8400 and I have been researching the 4870's a little bit today. Apparently one 4870 can outperform one GTX260. I will post again when I have my build finished, or if I can't decided on a certain component. This site rocks, glad I chose to join this one.
gj man for researching if you can get the 4870 it will be one powerful card

Is 2 bigger than 1.1? Is 16 bigger than 8? kthx. No self-respecting gamer is going to hinder performance like that when given the option. X38/48's OC respectably and for a multi-GPU system they can't be beat at this point.

what in gods name are you even saying? you want to pay 250 for a mobo that will not beat out a 150 dollar mobo, thats fine, but also try not to be condescending while at it.
