8800GT 512mb Problems?

Hi.. ever since i got this it has not felt stable, i've had it for a month.

Now and then when in high graphic games (timeshift/oblivion/crysis etc) the entire screen will just go 1 color, music would still run, the OS is running but i can get no picture from my graphics card.

Recently i brought a 22" so i could use higher resolutions, went from 1280x1024 to 1680x1050 and now it seems like it is doing it much more, cant even play oblivion on high detail with no AA for more than 1 minute.

Whats going on? i dont think its a heat problem, especially since only after a minute through its only on 60-65c but this card gets to 83c max in crysis, i dont usually play long enough to get it that far.

My drivers are 169.21 drivers.

Anyone know what this could possibly be? its really annoying.

it could be your power supply not giving enough power. plus you OCed your 8800gt which will require more power. and i would advise you getting a other stick of ram

i wouldn't be surprised if it was the power supply, is that what would happen though, i always thought if the power supply was not giving enough power that it just would turn the computer off.
