Sorry, it was kind of 2 questions in one. The first was what you thought of my build. and the secondd was if you think that I should replace anything in the build.

Thanks, but the shipping charge on the $40 part ends up equaling the slightly more expensive one that has free shipping.

The Seagate is a really good deal atm, so I think I'll stick with it.

That RAM is also very nice. They both actually have been said to OC well, I just went with OCZ because i have bought from them before and G. Skill I have never hear of.

Another Piece I was considering getting. It was actually very close between the DFI Lanparty and the Rampage Formula. Would you please give me some info on why this board is better and/or more cost-efficient than what I'm already gettting?

You've never heard of G.Skill? facepalm.jpg. G.Skill OC's the best of out of any RAM on the market, they don't have D9 micron chips for nothing.

Don't forget that Micron actually owns Crucial, so toss that name into the mix.

I like it all. I think you put good thought into value for the buck and picked good parts. The only place that you might be able to squeeze some more value in is the case. The Antec 900 is great, but for $30-$40 less you could get something a little less flashy that is just as durable and easy to work with.

thats def a powerful first build with the budget u have. G.skill is def a great company to back up what ^ said. seems like the OC market loves G.Skill, and they passed it on to me lol. If your not 100% sold on the Q6600, look into the E8400. 45nm with 4.0GHz potential on air, simply amazing. Dont forget to pick up an optical drive. Blu ray dvd burner drives are great options nowadays. Good luck man

Thank you everyone! Looks like I will be swapping out my OCZ RAM for G. Skill!

EDIT: I didn't add my optical drive to the list of components because I figured it would be kind of an obvious choice. I'm going for a DVD rewritable drive, and yes azn, I do plan on gettting a
Blu-Ray drive when they drop to a reasonable price sometime in the future.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you very much! That means a lot coming from someone with such a high status as you.

I guess it's time I order these parts and get building. Thanks to everyone at OCN who helped me out with this build!
