Since you have the identical gpu that I do, let me ask you this:
What temperature program do you monitor your vram with and in what porportion do the temps corrolate to your gpu temp?
My vram is -8c from gpu temp and rises and falls porportionatly, with sinks installed.

so take the sinks off. you will notice NO difference (like 2-3C)
