good choice on more tubing, you can never have too much (i usually go for around 10 feet to make up for bum cuts and adjustments in loop routing)

although, im a fiddler, and am never quite happy with anything until i've broken it

What is a "Re-Tap Top Port in 1/4'' BSPP"? That is one of the options when purchasing this res. Also, would this res be the best to go with? Or should I choose one that I can mount in a drive bay?
Some guys like to tap out the fill port on top of that res so that they can fit a G1/4 barb in it, then they run a line up and cap it off with a fill port...Kind of like a res with a t-line on it....

Those are a good little res, I like them, I've used several of them..I like a bay res as well or a little better...5.25" Bay Res

With a CPU and 3x GPU you'll probably need more than 7' of tubing; I'd go with at least 10' just to be sure.

You can also consider getting 7/16" ID tubing as it's easier to get tighter bends with it and often looks better (1/2" tubing can appear chunky in cramped cases)
