Hard drive into cd drive bay

Thread Starter
Is there a cheap way to put a hard drive into a cd drive bay? My case Came with this thing that holds 3 hard drives and has a fan on the front. Problem is is that the hard drives block the fan. Its a stupid design if you ask me. Anywho is there a cheap way to do this? I've seen those hard drive enclosures where you could pull the hard drive out. but is there another way?

You can get these brackets:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811993004

However, Newegg charges $10 for them... which I think is a rip-off for just a few pieces of metal.

Maybe poking around on eBay will give you some results?

That is exactly what I was looking for. I will check Fry's tomorrow for them instead of buying them from new egg.

Yes, I would use those brackets, I ripped 2 of those off my old windows 95 computer, and they work great.
