That might be just a bit overkill - I would stick with something like a Big Typhoon. No reason to spend $70 on a cooler when the rig probably won't need it.

Unless ASRock really changed things up you are not going to get any better overclocking potential out of that board. The reason being, ASRock allows little in the way of voltage manipulation. For instance my ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTE which is very similar to the -SATA2 only has normal and high voltage settings, and the high only got me to the the stock voltage of my 805 Smithy I use to run.

So unless you plan on doing some volt mods to the motherboard or that Smithfield 805 then I would look at getting a different board or sticking with the ECS you have. Have you ever looked at doing a volt mod to the Smithfield 805? Never done it myself, but it looks really easy. I will post a link.
