How much do you want to spend?

8600GT for $100, 9600GT for $140, 8800GT for $170, or HD 4850 for $200.

Hey there welcome to OCN howyman whats the PSU in that Dell? I would get a 512 MB card from EVGA, BFG, or PNY. Fill out your info so we can help you pick the best card out.

Any PCI-express x16 video card will do. I'd suggest you pick up some DDR2, you can get 2GB for about $45. I'm not sure if Dells still use those proprietary power supplies, maybe someone else can help me out with that?

No.... the 8600GT 512MB almost always use DDR2. The 8600GT 256MB GDDR3 is noticably better in performance.
Once again...

I have two 8600GT cards for sale, one is a 512MB model with GDDR2, and the other is a 256MB model with GDDR3. The 512MB card is $50, and the 256MB is $60. Check the link in my sig for details if you're interested.
