The XIGMATEK HDT-D1284 is what seems to be a clone of the OCZ Vendetta 2 HSF, which is a very good one, this currently goes for around $45 shipped

The XIGMATEK HDT-D1264 looks VERY similar to the previous HSF, and is selling for just $19 after rebate!

The XIGMATEK HDT-D1284 is a very good HSF fom reviews I have read, yet I have seen nothing on the 1264 version.

Is the 1264 worth the money, or is it just a cheap look-alike?

The 1264 is worth the money, especially after that rebate, but it IS a bit worse than the older one. One advantage though is it's a top-down cooler so it also cools everything around the CPU as well which is important.

The HDT-S1283 is what the OCZ V2 was cloned from.
