I think I'm going to invest in a soundcard to help my FPS. I use headphones and not speakers, so it doesn't have to be extravagant.

there are a ton of people on OCN that are selling their old X-FI extreme music sound cards for >$50, that would be your best bet if you're willing to wait/buy used

if you want a new one, avoid x-fi extreme audio

what are you looking to spend on a sound card?

PS: any FPS you would gain with a sound card would be neglegible

Care to explain why that Intel stuff blows?

OT: The Dual-core vs Quad-core debate really depends on what the PC will be used for. If its mostly gaming, a dual core would be better IMO.

PS2 Keyboard if your installing XP..... For some reason XP wont install if it does not detect a ps2, Usb Keyboards wont Work. Get a USB to ps2 Adaptor or borrow a friend's Ps2 Keyboard
