About the aftermarket cooler, i'd get the NV120, it's the Best CPU cooler that exists, and honestly, it keeps the CPU as cool as the south pole lol

how about the Zalman CNPS9500? or the 9700?
Wat about sound card? Is it a good thing to get one on will the on board be sufficient enough?

On board is alright, but you can not go wrong with a dedicated sound card. Even a low-end sound card plays a major difference in audio quality. Many audiophiles have their own preferences, and it all boils down to what you will be listening to the most, as every card has it's strengths and weaknesses. I would go with a dedicated solution.

I haven't personally used it, but I've heard it's pretty good. Google it for reviews and see what others think of it.

Will it be a better choice if I choose Asus Maximus II Formula over the P5Q-Deluxe?

Couple of bells and whistles. Effectively the same board. However, the onboard sound boasts a Creative X-Fi chipset, so it might actually be pretty good, which could save you money on the soundcard. If you think that's an idea, I would go for it. If you get a dedicated soundcard no matter what, I'd get the P5Q-Deluxe, since it saves you $60 for basically the same hardware.

For a sound card, i highly recommand an X-FI Form creative, the best sound card i ever had..
Used to play with the onboards sounds cards, but when since i stepped in the X-FI World, i'll never go back :]
