what OS are u using.. file differs from OS to OS.. neways - try the link..
http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=265498 - i've downloaded the Vista x64 - works for me fine.. if u need the vista x64 file i've uploaded it.. it should work..

Steps...
1. Remove ur prev Display driver..
2. Use driver sweeper to uninstall it compeletely.
3. restart Pc.
4. Extract 177.41 to a location on ur HD - cancel installation once all files are extracted to the desired location.
5. Extract file uploaded to that location..relacing the current file.
6. Run setup.exe from the same location..
7. Restart PC..
Voila !!

Enjoy..

PS. .u still cant make Physx work on a G80 card .. support may come at a later date.. install the latest physx drivers anyway from nvidia's website to check ur luck.. !!

Here's what i wanna know. If i modded my inf file incorrectly(or if its incomplete), and it installs the driver, will it have any instability issues or any effect on performance? Or is the inf file like the bouncer at a club responsible only to allow/disallow installation of certain cards? And once ID is made, it's work is done? Im askin cuz i did the inf mod and it installed the drivers but physx didnt work.

Not 2 sure .. i tired modding the inf myself .. trying to get the physx to work.. however it's not this inf that will enable it on the 8800gtx..
the G80 card will be supported by another release of physx drivers like the 8.06.12v which currently supports the 200& g92 cards only..

Neways after a lot of modding the inf.. the driver still installed - n no difference in the way it would work.. but still no physx.. thats the important part..

GeForce 8800 GTS 640Yes Yes Yes Yes No No Yes 1.0
GeForce 8800 GTS 512Yes Yes Yes Yes No Yes No 1.1

just check out the Last option , G80 GPU only supports compute capability 1.0 , whereas G92 one supports 1.1 CUDA , so thats the reason u cant force physics on the G80 GPU , they(nvidia) got to rewrite tje code for this , which they're doing , and hopefully we'll be getting our official drivers sooon

Yeah because not having PhysX for a couple weeks is worth buying cheaper cards that perform less?....

I have the 177.41 Drivers on my 8800 GTX and am installing Ageia PhysX right now... How do I "test" if it works on my card
