I'm taking the 4870X2 + 4870 game this time around i think

unless quad GPU's come into their own

but first i need a new MOBO/PROC combo

got an E8500 and a P5E premium waiting for 2 of these badboys. i know its probably hella overkill, but i plan to also get my girlfriend a 4870, so i might end up with trifire if quad is still as hopeless as previously founded to be.

You're spoiling the girl friend with a 4870. Just get her a Nvidia 6 series or 5 series .
