OK, nevermind. I didn't intend to ask a question about the HD3870X2, but I re-read my post and I can easily see how someone would get that. Sorry about that. What I meant was that I didin't think the OS would read a single GPU for the HD4870X2.

who would honestly want a card that uses between 500 and 700W on full load? let alone 2 or 3?
who has/has had a 2000W+ power supply handy?? apart from anyone who has reviewed it...

the standard GTX280 looks hungry enough @ 236W base!!

so will the rangetopping X2 version be a regular appearance for a few 6-month terms/ranges now?
