Modular and non-modular perform the same.
The 620HX is a Seasonic built PSU. They are known for their high-quality and low noise PSUs.
My post was based off of a guide I read a little while ago written by Chozart. If I remember correctly, he stated that modular power supplies are less efficient.
In any case, Listen to Duckie, he's probably correct. It's a great power supply.
