$800+ card? kinda pointless when even a cheap $170ish card like the 4850 maxes out most games @ 1680 by 1050 and even the 8800GT maxes out most games @ 1440 by 990. No room in today's market for a card that expensive, unless Nvidia is that desperate for the performance crown.

that has nothing to do with my post... but when the company has nothing going on, i guess thats what they do to make some "new" products to mix up the market. Think about what AMD has been doing these past years. But really what can they do instead of "re branding" cards? pull a brand new architecture up the asses? hold TSMC at gun point and tell them to start making 55nm/40nm cards? hmm...

Nvidia need to get the 55nm 200b out, drop prices and be done with it, worry about the crown next time if at all possible.

Nvidia and ATI both make great cards with ATI holding the crown, It all comes down to your budget and value for money.

They might not win with pure performance this round, but the Price/Performance ratio of the 55nm GTX200's should be pretty good
