Xigmatek HDT -S1283 Temps

Thread Starter
I'm running my quad at 3.6 ghz with 1.48 vcore and I'm getting folding temps of 65-70C. Something does not seem right. My temps seem just a tad high. I also have the bolt through kit.

I feel like I may have installed it wrong, but I just reset it and I'm getting the same temps.

EDIT: Ambients are 20-22C

Could you provide us with your ambients?

Those temperatures might be correct. With summer ambients and that high of a voltage, 65c does not seem too bad.

I'm getting the ambient temp right now. When I run Prime95, I'm getting 72-74C.

Must be a bad seating.

Make sure you have good TIM and spread it lightly on the base of the cooler on the pipes, and one small dot on the CPU.

You can try this method of TIM application and see if it helps.
