If so, then I would get something that has crossfire. Nvidia cards cost way too much to ever consider it a budget build, unless you're buying 1 to 2 generations old cards.

The 8800 gts 320 has been a great card for me. I can't play crysis above medium, but it works excellent in every other game. I probably would have sli'd mine, but one of the dual dvi ports is busted and I have no way of knowing how the unused sli part of the card will work.

for the amount of money you are prepared to spend, I would go with a new generation ati card, either save some money and get a 4850, or save up a little more and get yourself a 4870. I got myself a 4870 that will be here tomorrow and I can't wait to go from 96 stream processors to 800

Honestly i dont think either the 3870 or the 8800gts 320 are good options. They are both old technology as everyone says go w/ a 4870 or 4850. OR there is an 8800gts 512 for only $115 after mir on fxvideocards.com check there that rocks the 4850, 3870, and 8800gts 320!

EDIT: for a SLI board 750i, xfire board x38

3870 = ATI's high-end last generation card

Pros: Quieter, uses less power, a LOT cooler
Cons: I guess it's older

4850 = ATI's mid-range current card

Pros: About 15-20% faster than the 3870
Cons: Runs way too hot (80+ degrees Celcius under load)
I believe a hotfix fixed that... The fan was stuck at 15% during load, causing high temps.
