VGA Cooler Compatibility

Thread Starter
Hey OCN,
I read reviews about Artic Cooler and I have this 8800GTS . Some people say their 8800GTS is not compatible but I think it was because of G92 rev. Or because it depends on brands, but I think all chips are same except the cover. Do you think it'll compatible? The reason I ask is because if things turn bad I don't wanna return with restock charges.

Can you explain better please? I measured the card, 25mm fan, and cooler's height and determined that I'll still have enough room in the case.

your card is a g92 version
the vga cooler is rev 2 which supports the 8800 gts (g92) video card

Can you explain better please? I measured the card, 25mm fan, and cooler's height and determined that I'll still have enough room in the case.
it means that it hangs off so it will more than likely take up 2 spots. 1 for vga and 1 for the fan. it migh conflick with other cards due to the size of the vga+ cooler

It will work just fine. It's on the supported video cards list.

Two more question not relating to the topic.
110.31 CFM and 98.6 CFM a lot of difference in performance?
43.3 dbA and 37.0 dbA a lot difference in noise?

12 cfm's either one will be fine.
the noise will be about the same but the 43 will be a little louder obviously. you can get fan controllers to help regulate the noise
