Need help

Hi
Can anyone help me?
I've changed my psu from a 250w stock hp on to a Janetech 600w and added a more powerful gfx card.

I've done everything i thought i needed to and switched it back to find the fans start up and then it switches itself after about 4 seconds.
Everything is plugged in correctly and i've even tried the old psu to see if the new one is damaged but it still does the same.

Can anyone suggest anything i could have done wrong? or how to fix it?

So you now experience this with both the new Jeantech and the old HP power supplies?

When you "flip the switch" are you just flipping the back switch or are you turning it on with the front button?

Check the wires on the old HP PSU and the new Jeantech. Are all of them the same colors in the same position on the 24-pin or are there any differences?

Try to boot with minimum parts.
Also check every cable that connectors are tight in case you nudged some of them while changing PSU.
And as it's brand PC you'll never know what they have put in it... including non-standard PSUs with different (+ly wired) connectors.

Hopefully you didn't pay lot if it's this paperweight.
