Thread Starter
Hello,

I'm running an AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ Dual Core AM2 cpu on an Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard. Recently I was working on improving my overclocking settings and I accidentilly increased my multiplier to an apparently unhealthy level, now my pc restarts itself every 5 seconds or so, I assume the CPU is overheating. Is there a way to fix this?

Reset CMOS. Using your manual, find the CMOS jumper on the motherboard. Short the pins for a few minutes, and try booting again.
