4870 in CF
Q6600
WD 640GB Hard Drive, Maybe 2 in RAID0
G. Skill DDR2 1066 2x2gb
PC P&C 750 PSU

There's a start. Also, are you or your friend in Canada? So no Newegg wish lists? Anywyas, NewEgg has a great deal on the Cosmos S case with with E8400 (and E8500 or Q9300) for $70 off. The bundle is only $350. Just a heads up. For the mobo, I'd go DFI x38. Good luck!

I like that list, but he is watercooling Look into a:
Velociraptor 300gb hard drive (or 2 150gb for RAID(Not out yet))
DFI X48 motherboard
Don't buy a 4870 YET
Look at this article
Super R770
Watercooling a 4870 + unlocked BIOS = GTX280 killer
