Anyone know if the abit ab9 pro mobo is any good?
Also will it handle a q6600?? It says it will handle c2d c2e and all just nothing about the quad. I qould figure if it handles the core2extreme series it will handle the quad....

Thanks

I used an abit ab9 pro to overclock an E6400 to 3.4 ghz. It should handle a quad alright, but I'm not sure how well it will overclock though, i know you can't up the northbridge voltage very high (1.45v max) Overall it's a pretty nice mobo. Oh found this on a newegg review:

So it should support a quad just fine after a bios update. You may need to 'borrow' another cpu to get the bios update in the first place though.
