Artifacting. Freezing. Need help.

Okay, this has been happening ever since I installed my new RAM, quite a while ago. Before it would just start as random freezing when I first start a game (Normally CoD4.) and I know that is actually quite common, in CoD4 that is.

However, I had noticed a few times it happening in Half Life 2. And this freezing also (Unlike other people) has artifacts. Such as random pieces of texture in random areas, along with missing walls and...Well, sometimes all I'd see is grass that is on invisible ground, by invisible buildings. (Take note that this would only appear in a single frozen frame. If I CTRL AlT DEL to get the security options, and click cancel it'll go back to normal, and won't be frozen, but would normally freeze again and I'd have to repeat this to actually get the game running. However, with the newer PhysX supporting drivers it's gotten worse, and worse. With the 177.41 I'd get Aero Glass to artifact when I was just doing nothing, and Fold on the GPU just wouldn't work. Now I went back to 177.39 and it's still as bad. Even though I did the safe mode, driver cleaner, restart between every step way of installing Nvidia drivers. And now, while I am typing this I have a desktop full of artifacts, and can barely see what I am typing.

Nothing works. I think I am just going to buy a new GPU, very likely ATI. (Not just because of this, but because the price for performance is very nice, and they actually have a card which performs decently better then mine which doesn't cost $650. )

However, I don't know what to do in the mean time. And I don't have a heck of a lot of money like many of you. I can't just get a new GPU, CPU, or mobo just because I feel like it.

This still happens when everything is at stock, and underclocked. PSU is sending more then enough volts, RAM is actually stable (Despite this starting to happen when I installed my new RAM.) my GPU however can't handle any overclocking past the 600 core, 1500 shader, and 2000 Memory without failing ATi Tool. Unless of course it feels like being stupid, like it is now.

Nothing is the cause, nothing is the solution. I am stumped.

And that isn't even the full list. All of them are related to my GPU, and it's drivers.
