You'll probably need a larger power supply 750w and up.

lol ahh iv got 2 different replys now god damn this lol , i think im gonna go for a another 3870 ice q, but i have a new question, i have a 4 pin that leads to 2 six pins for my graphics card, (it only require one) i was wondering if it would be ok to power to two cards of them both, i took some pics cause im really bad at explaining things in the second pic it looks like there separate but the two actually come off one the other is in my mobo.

2 six pins connectors

and a pic of the 1 connector

hate to be the bearer of bad news but if u have a look on the ati website, u cartn crossfire a 300 series with a 400 series, it doesnt work just yet so ull either have to wait for the drivers that do support it or not bother, the choice is yours

Mattass

Would you feel safe cross firing 2 of your 3870 cards?

From my understanding the new 4800 series are more power effecent than the older 3800 series, By this I mean that we are getting a large performance increase without using too much more power... See this review.

Here, Notice this graph is TOTAL SYSTEM Power... Now your rig with your components will be alittle different... But I would guess that you would be fine with 650w PSU and cross firing... (if possible a 4850/3870)
