My Z-5500's are here and working...

I think I have died and gone to heaven.... Onboard with £20 speakers pfftt....

Now Prelude with £180 speakers.... GODLIKE!

You guys might think "So ok he got a sound card and z-5500's.. big deal"

I have come off onboard with trash cheapo speakers... TO THIS...

Its a MASSIVE improvement.

I support you my friend. I still have a Dinky X-Fi fatality [got it as a gift] and I remember changing from onboard sound [especially from my low end DFI Blood iron board] to the dedicated card, i was blown away by what i was missing.


now, all you gotta do is a buy a DAC and AMP, and you'll truly understand us audiophiles.

Dude, just ordered an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude today. Gonna try them out with my Z-5500 when I get em. =D

I heard there was a difference between the sound quality in XP and Vista, any truth to that?

Also, I bought a pair of HD280 headphones. Can't wait to try those out too. =D =D
