MOBO temps shot up after installing my WC setup

After I just installed my new loop, as well as a new Thermalright HR-05 for my NB with fan on it, my MOBO temps are through the roof. I'm idling at 38C and loading in the 50's. I never used to get above 40C on load with my OC's. What could this be attributed to?

I'd try re-seating your Thermalright, sounds like it may not be making good contact...Did it come with a little rubber square to go on the mobo? Its supposed to help keep the NB HSF to sit level on the chip...

Yea it did come with one but I kinda lost it and was told it wasn't very necessary. Maybe I should pick one up and reseat.

I would, you can get by with-out one if your careful, but they will help keep you from chipping you chip..You can just cut one out of a old rubber mouse pad if you have one laying around, they work fine.I've had to re-seat NB HSF several times before to get it on right...Don't use to much TIM, I'm bad about doing that on the little things..
