WC setup suggestions?

I have enough room in my budget to go with water cooling so I figure why not. I'd like to keep this setup as cheap as possible, but I'm willing to spend at much as $200 on it.

Suggestions please?

Look around and you can find some of this stuff used, save a little $$$ that way...

This is version 1-. FuZion ..Guys should be selling some of these since V2 is out...

Back-plate...s/ 775 Pro-Mount

CD has a guide to make one...Backing Plate Mod for the FuZion

This with 100+ CFM fans.360 BIX..These fans would be OK.86cfm Pana..These better...115cfm Pana.Or a Swfty 320 or BIP 360 with lower cfm fans..

You can get by with a 240 rad for a CPU only loop, I would just go ahead and get a 360 anyway, you might want to add a GPU or something later, the 360 just isn't that much more $$$ anyway...

Pump..D-5 Vario..I wouldn't cheap out on a pump....

Use a T-line, or res if you can find one cheap...

Use this on 1/2" barbs..7/16x5/8"..This for full size....1/2x3/4"

Coolant.Pentosin...Biocide....PT Nuke

I'll leave you some stuff to read and my cleaning and set up PDF, be sure to read all the stickies here also, lots of good info in them...

I plan on cooling everything with water. I figure why stop with just the CPU?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably have a lot more questions when I start assembling my rig this fall, I just want to gather as much information as possible beforehand.

It will start running into a lot of $$$ to cool much more then CPU,GPU and maybe a NB if you have to have it WC'ed...That 360 BIX would be good enough for just those 3 things, much better but more $$$ would be a 360GTX or a PA.3...

Shrouds will help a lot with the BIX and GTX, they should help some with a PA also..

You're using a lot of acronyms I don't recognize. I'm completely new to water cooling.

If I have to, I'll expand my budget to $250 for a water cooling setup. My budget is $2000 and I plan on getting everything at a discounted price if I can. I've already saved roughly 11% on my CPU and almost half on my motherboard. Winning the Maximus Formula for only $125.65 shipped on eBay opened up my budget quite a bit.

I'm researching components for a water cooling setup and things are a little pricier than expected. Looks like I'll have to cut a few more corners to get the pieces I want. It'll help if I can find things on sale. The real killer looks like it'll be the GPU cooler.

What questions do you still have? I can help you out

The fuzion gfx v2 block just came out today if you didn't know.

I'm just trying to find which components will deliver the best performance for my money. I want a good, efficient setup, but I don't want to pay a fortune. I want to be able to cool everything with water and it looks like it will cost a fortune. The good news is I've saved close to $200 on the items listed in my sig.

And just so you know, I'm in no rush to buy these things. I won't be back in ConUS until the middle of August and back in Texas until the last week of August. I'll be busy pretty much all of September demobilizing and going on a road trip with Fenway Park as the centerpiece. I'll be home from all the craziness around the second week of October and that's when I plan on really kicking things into gear.
