Agreed - each one of those is very much different from the other. Except they have all the same thing in common - they are harmful to your computer in some way.

The point is that there's a general conception, not necessarily here on OCN, that Macs are immune to malware of any kind, which is simply not true. While a virus infection is extremely unlikely due to the root security, a trojan or worm is completely possible. The net effect is that bad stuff happens to your computer.

I'll just continue rolling my eyes...

Exactly, and there actually have been a worm for mac's before. Trojans, well more than likely, just i cant name any off the top of my head.
