Help With Overclocking Q6600

Thread Starter
Well, I'm currently overclocking for the first time but I'm running into some issues. I'm at 3.2GHz (356x9), but I just can't seem to get it stable. My temps are fine, I'm not going over 60C when running Prime95. CPU-Z reads my core voltage as 1.440V (I set it to 1.465 in the BIOS though (though that seems a little high to me), so I'm not sure what that's about), though that drops to as low as 1.390V when running Prime95. NB voltage is set to 1.33V. RAM is in a 1:1 ratio and set to 2.00V.

If anyone can give me any advice to get this stable I'd greatly appreciate it.

The only thing I can suggest ATM is increasing the NB voltage a little more (quads need more then dual cores). Try setting it to 1.375v - 1.4v.
