[GamePlanet] HD4850 CF vs GTX 280 - Page 3

This is revolutionary!!!

All sarcasm aside it's good to see ATI put out some good hardware. The 4kx2 will be fun to play with.
Well, this is just the 4850 so the 4870 I'm sure will be a much nicer 2 vs 1 comparison. And would just then be hitting the price of the GTX280. I wonder what would perform best? Not to mention when the 4870X2 comes, then it is single pcb vs single pcb so no hinderence from running 2 gpus.

Thanks to someone's post finding the 4850 at Best Buy for 150 I printed the tag and had it price matched, thinking about a second one for the same if I can. I'd keep the 4870 to xfire with the 4850 over two 4850's. In fact I am jealous of you right now. I plan eventually to grab a 4870X2 and xfire it to the 4850.

I am looking man and I can't find it. WhiteCrane has the printed photos at his house worse case we can scan them and I can send them to you. I will keep the search on, it was a post here from about 2 weeks ago. I've tried searching HD4850 Best Buy.

I dont think you will need that much horsepower then 2 4850 can give. For current game even a 8800GT is enough.

If this is real then Ati has really turned itself around. Very impressive performance for the $$$.

Just CFX the 4870 and 4850 for even better results... remember this is crossfire we're talking about, not some cheezy sli
