That's about the same as the P5Q as I suggested. Excellent overclocker, and this one actually has dual PCI-E slots (running at x8, x8, but it's PCI-I 2.0). Will run Crossfire, and is a nice board.

last question, how does the asus compare to the DFI DK P45
post #16 of 19
DFI DK P45 is more hardcore oc oriented
alot more advanced options
lower failure rate than asus
better bios than asus

please dont get an asus
i own a p4 asus system prescott 3.4 wont run 3.42 in it
anymore

my friend just got a asus790fx board and a phenom9300
a 5mhz fsb diff kills it

all asus has is its rep for its older boards and bling
where the dfi will PWN it with a quality long lasting product
dfi is all i will buy anymore

all this(IMO)

If you don't mind open box, that's the board to get. X48 is an outstanding chipset for Crossfire, and will overclock very well also.
