Will I Get Better GPU Performance If I Upgrade to Faster RAM? (X3100) - Page 2

thats a pretty bad adapter if u ask me.... but thats the problem with most laptops.... go to your BIOS and change video buffer to the highest available.... or do it from Control Panel if you want

Buffer size doesn't really matter once you have at least 64-128MB for onboard video. Memory clock speed does however affect integrated video performance. I am curious why your RAM is running at 266MHz instead of 333MHz. What is your FSB frequency? Does the chipset not have the correct divider available?

know what ... thats quite true.... ive never tried it coz ive never been on an intel GMA chip..... but He may just be on one of those 533 Mhz RAMs rather than at least a 667 one.... try ocing your RAM from the Mobo and dont forget to loosen the timings if you try that.... because if it fails to boot youll have to open Laptop and clear BIOS settings by clearing your CMOS. And i dont know this but will rivatuner be able to help him at all.....?

Here are my results of overclocking the 780G. While this isn't the same graphics core, it is still integrated video and functions similarly.

well In my honest opinion you should stop worrying about vista scores and try runnin a game at decent settings... if youre fine in there.... dont bother abt vista scores.... and i cant see the other guys scores because im on unix shell.... sorry.... any how go to control panel and youll definitely have a setting there abt size of Shared mem size but really, mem size shouldnt really be your problem....

Is there any apps that scan for bottleneck or something?
It is just so weird that all other laptops with x3100 got much higher scores than me!
