Test for fps - CPU difference

Thread Starter
Ok, what I want is a text between let's say a 3ghz amd dual core proc and a 3ghz core 2 duo. Cause everyone on here can at least reach 3ghz on average on both brands this would be a nice number.

Now pair this procs up with a HD4850 and benchmark the crap out of them. I want to know how much of fps difference there will be. Can someone do this that is rich? haha Or find a link that someone did this already? Thanks guys and I'm sure some other people are asking the same question on how much of a difference there really is.

Eeerr... i doubt you'll find anyone with this... most people who have amd dual cores are fan boys and those who have intel dual cores are already aware that they made the right choice - that may seem biased, but it's just fact... intels OC higher and have higher performance per clock...

As for fps gains, that's entirely based on how CPU intensive the particular game is.... what you should be asking is overall performance gains, which will frankly, be a decent bit
