time for a new motherboard?

Hey, guys i currently have right now a P5N-E and i can overclock my Q6600 at 2.63ghz which is what i have 24/7 with temps of load 42c max, and i cant oc it more with this motherboard so i was looking at the EVGA 750i FTW and im wondering if i can at least take it at 3.2ghz with the EVGA motherboard

What is holding your overclock back? This seems a very poor overclock, and that board should be able to do better.

Having that said... getting the FTW isn't a bad choice at all, if only for the reason it actually provides dual PCI-E x16 bandwidth for your 9800's... The limited bandwidth of the Asus board is holding those GPUs back.

I heard from everybody that this motherboard isnt good for Quad but that was 2 late because i already bought it, the max ive hit is like 2.7 but that was unstable and ive even tried a vcore of 1.4 just to see at 2.7 lol! now my vcore is at 1.2v lower then vid my vid is 1.2375v
