YAY another version of the PS3 thanks SONY!
I was playing on getting it at 399 since the 499 MGS bundle has no advantages for my use(80 gb HDD and BC). Being that I have 2 ps2s and my xbox runs quite nicely with only 20 (14)gigs of space,

But if the 399 price tag is going to be making a drop, I will definitely pick up one sooner. The only reason why I would pay 400 for a 360 is the bigger library of games that interest me and live.

If sony drops the price this month, it will be down in price with best buys cheapest blu-ray insignia player 299. $350 would be a nice price, 299 would be awesome but asking for a lot.

Wow the UK has to pay $767USD for a PS3? Dude I feel bad for you guys more then I already have. But then again its like 1 EUR = 1.57791 USD

'Version', it's just a die shrink. It'll cost less to manufacture, get less hot and use less power, but it won't do anything the old ones couldn't.

You won't notice a thing unless you measure the power consumption.

I think my 60GB PS3 is a monster that devours souls to power itself, what an infernal machine.

Edit: The PS3 should be a boss in Diablo 3.
