Best cans for <$75?

They'll be used for a combination of gaming (mostly for the night) and listening to music when I find myself - get this - outside of the house

Anyways some of the things I'd like (in order of necessity):
1) Decent sound obviously - I know onboard isn't that up to it, but it would be nice to be able to hear things in a decent range fairly clearly while gaming
2) Noise canceling or at least reasonable blockage - so that I can turn up my comp fans while gaming, ignore boring school pep rallies, or get hit by cars while wandering about
3) Nice bass - I mostly listen to ska which doesn't really need it, but I also listen to techno/electronica here and there and would hate to have to deal with crummy bass

TY in advance to the responses

You'll probably want IEM's: They're tops for noise blockage, and can get some great bass slam with a nice seal.

I'm not very knowledgeable with IEM's, though... I vaguely recall these getting good reviews.

Sounds like AKG K581 DJs would fit the bill.

There is, they did a revision, the 518 is black instead of silver. The K81dj is no longer sold.

Always go with cans, they are much easier on your ear drums and sound better.

I looked over the product description and specs for the AKG K 518 DJ... very nice - exactly what I'm looking for! Even meets a requirement I didn't list (seeing as though it's totally subjective) - looks!

I'm sold! But the only place I can find them for sale is like $80+shipping... any clue as to where else I can snag a pair of these cans? Thanks for the help so far guys
