Hmm... Within your budget you should be able to find Sony MDR-V6. They're not too bad. I would personally stretch a bit and try and grab a used pair of Equation Audio RP-21s. They're probably the best all-around closed headphone under $150, and as a nice plus based on your original requirements they have phenomenal bass.

Man those RP-21s have some pretty dang nice reviews/specs/looks... I can't seem to find any place that sells them for less than $99 ... $80-85 and I would jump it

If you've got the 100 to spend up front, maybe consider buying them off of ebay using the MS Live cash back.
