Just got the ga-x48-ds4. Seems very solid and o/c well, and the load-line calibration handles voltages so much better. I plan doing xfire (2-pcie16x) when the 4870 drops a little in price( 2-3 months?) but very happy with this board so far.

Nice man, yeah I don't know a whole lot about the x series boards. I'm glad I asked. I might do the 4870x2 in crossfire when they come out, yes, instead of buying a new car.
